Crabtree starbreaker spd

Evening all.
I've got a dual rcd starbreaker cons unit that requires me to fit spd protection (bit late as customer already been struck). Crabtree website states that their spd's are not suitable for dual rcds. Can't see reason for this if anyone could explain please I would appreciate it

Starbreaker have the plug in busbar, SPDs need to connect immediately after the main switch and there is no way to do that with the dual RCD affair.

Only possible with the main switch or the 'high integrity' versions which allow the SPD to be installed next to the main switch.

That explains that. Thank you. So the only way around this is to install an upfront stand alone spd.
