I am fixing a mirror to a brick wall (plastered) with two screws at the top. The heads of the screws will be used to hang on the lugs on the back of the mirror.

The mirror weighs 23kg. What size screws do I need to use for 12kg at each end?

Thank you.

you select the size that fits
if its a slot and hole its the size off the hole minus 1mm

but i would say assuming the head will be less than 5mm from plaster

no 8 or10x 2" screws brown plug and 7mm masonery bit
metric 4.5 or5mmx50mm
