2000x398 (25Kg) 2 column. Each of the 4 brackets requires 2 fixing points (bottom screw hole on each bracket is oval).

The instructions do not state (screws/plugs not included- thanks Screwfix!) what length and width to use. I’m thinking hefty? What would you use? Feels like dot/dab plasterboard over brick.

all depends on the gap between the wall and board and whether its brick /breeze or worst case thermalite block behind it .
But fit the top two brackets first level then level up spot on as over 2 metres evenly slightly out will show .
Once hanging on the top 2 put the bottom 2 in position and mark them remove rad and fit brackets into place use washers on the screws holding brackets on

Use dot and dab fixings

Core fix can be bought from Screwfix

I have used the Corefix before. I was pleased with them. I would add that it might be a good idea to slightly countersink them. That will enable the bracket to sit flush with the plaster.

For the benefit of the OP. The metal sleeve in the Corefix allows the weight load to be transferred to the blockwork- thereby placing the plaster under less stress. The plastic collar eliminates the risk of pulling the plasterboard into the wall.
