Does anyone know whether Mapesil AC silicone sealant is suitable for sealing a hob into a new quartz worktop? Also is this the best sealant or is there something more suitable?
I notice on the tube it says ‘Not suitable for acid sensitive surfaces’, would this be alright with Quartz? The installers used Wickes General Purpose sealant to seal along the upstands but I don't know how this compares.
