Sealed frame befrore backerboarding?

I have boxed in my bath and I ma ready for backerboarding it before tiling it. Do I need to seal the frame with anything like a SBr before I backerboard it prior to tiling ?
 
Nope, but make sure you have access panels so you can get to anything you need to in the future without ripping the whole lot out.
