I’m looking into having a loft conversion in the near future and want to prepare as much as possible. The system is currently a standard open vent setup with a hot water cylinder, 10 rads and Worcester Greenstar 12Ri boiler.
Can this system be converted to sealed to remove expansion tank in the loft?

I would also like to add a radiator to a small conservatory (2.4mX2.4m) that is used a utility room to keep above freezing in the depths of winter. What kind of output would I require? The room has a 35mm poly carb roof, one wall is the outside wall of the house, another is to a single brick garage (garage unheated) the final 2 walls are 900mm high with double glazed windows above.

Yes,you will need expansion vessel and the kit, that comes with it.it wont take a fitter long to do.a rad about 32 x 24 k2

Conversion to sealed is simple and the MI tell you how and what. You can not just stick a rad in a conservatory, not safely and legally anyway
