One side of my shower cubicle has a slight leak through the silicone sealant. This has also gunged up with a brown fungus. I need to clear it out to reseal it and I'm going to have a go at doing it myself. What's the best way to get the old sealant out? (See pictures)

I use these to remove the silicone from the glass

and very sharp chisels to remove the silicone from the tray (very carefully).

I would start off by running the Olfa cutter against the glass first- you may need a number of passes, then use a 9mm flexible snap off blade knife to remove the bulk (running it along the top of the tray), and then the chisels to remove any left over.
