I have an over the bath glass shower screen. Where the screen meets the tiled wall there is a rubber type seal. Water is getting through this seal at the joints between the tiles. Is it acceptable to run silicon sealant along the screen/wall to stop this leak?

I'm assuming that it's the support that's fixed to the wall that the screen pivots from? If so, remove the screen from the wall and dot some silicone into the grout joints in line with where the rubber seal goes. Then just refit the screen and the silicone will fill in the gaps.
