Hi. We have recently had to have our chipboard flooring replaced after water damage. The heating and service pipes were installed after the original floor was put down. To lay the new floor the joiners have had to cut slots in the boards to slip them past the pipes. Can anyone recommend the best way to fill the gaps around the pipes to stop vermin entering the house.

Cut pieces to fit from remnants of chipboard and push into place ( if friction fit ) or glue.
