hi there. could anyone recommend a brand of sealant to use in order to seal in positive pressure boilers just for peace of mind? i have the red silicone but far too messy and ugly and awkward. is there any sealant that is transparent and does the job?

no. you should renew the manufacturers seal to comply with regs.
