Hello,

I want to seal the exposed chipboard edges where my kitchen sink has been installed into the counter top to protect it from possible moisture ingress or absorption. What should I use? The last thing I want to do is create a problem by using the wrong product.

I have a quick drying, ployutherene varnish (possibly water based); yacht varnish; a tub of PVA; and a load of silicone.

Thoughts?

I use foil tape, water and heat proof and unlike liquids you can see if you have total coverage.
