Do i seal my travertine wall tiles before i grout, or afterwards.

I have a limestone grout to go into all the gaps as well.

I was thinking i seal after grouting.

Sealing after grouting is one thing but Trav is porous & can/will stain if not sealed prior to laying & grouting. It depends, what did your tile stockist recommend? - dont tell me, nothing!

Some trav come pre-sealed which is OK for laying but may need sealing again before grouting. It’s also advisable to use white adhesive to reduce risk of staining.

What do you mean by limestone grout?

most of the time its both, unless as richard c says its presealed. as long as you follow the instructions you wont do any damage by sealing again so if in doubt seal before and after.

I presume you mean limestone 'colour' grout? i know granfix do a maxigrout colour that is labelled limstone....
