hi all, anyone have any experience of faulty speedo, my mate has changed the sensor thingy on the gearbox with a new one but still not working any ideas please, cheers

Sadly this is quite a common problem, and often the temperature and fuel guages fail too.
Check out BBA reman - they can fix your dashboard and offer you advice first. A brilliant firm!

Sorry mate I haven't done one....all VAG stuff is very cleverly clipped together though so careful with any prising!
