I have just bought a reposed house and need to secure the smashed windows till glazing arrives. What timber sheeting can I use. Is chipboard ok ?

12mm shuttering ply /sterling board /exteriour ply will last months
mdf/ chipboard will last days if wet
if you have already bought the chipboard and the windows are smallish you can cover with plastic/opened out black sacks and you should be ok for around3 or 4 weeks
