Having removed kitchen units I need to fill where the tiling ends, if I screed this with sand cement, can I then pour self levelling compound over the tiles before fitting new base units.

Will then have floor covered in (SWMBO) will tell me.

You will need to primer the tiles before you self level screed, assuming there's no residual moisture present etc?

Prime with?

Whatever screed you are using, will have a suitable primer in the same range, but which primer you use will depend on the different manufacturers specs and the exact nature of the subfloor. Check the F-Ball or Ardex websites.
