Decided to pull up the floor tiles in kitchen that were laid onto concrete floor and level floor ready for vinyl planks. The concrete floor is at least 50 years old and is supported by columns which put it at first floor level.I know the floor is not level because I had to adjust the tiles as I laid them ( I know should have levelled floor first!) So my plan is to level floor using Mapei 3240 with a SBR primer. So is this the correct way to do it and if so which SBR should I use and how is it applied neat or diluted,or is this method not correct.
Thanks

I use Setcrete SLC primer under my 3240.
Was available in a smaller can than the Mapei primer.

Have you used SLC before?
Was my first time

No never used SLC before but laid plenty of concrete.
Thanks for replies will have a look at both products.

You can use any floor primer really but we tend to stick to the same system
