Hi,

My block of flat has two pedestrian gates leading to a car park. They have Locinox LAKQ U2 locks.

Unfortunately, people have to remember to lock the gate after opening it.

Is there a quick solution to make the door self-locking, i.e. a key is required to open it at any time?

Thanks!
Tom

Thanks.

The building owns it. It's not an emergency exit.

I have indeed seen the video, and was considering removing the handles, but for some reasons, our lock does not open only with the keys.

Most of the owners (including myself) own a share of the freehold company.

Actually, I realised that it's an older type of Locinox lock, probably LCKX as opposed to a LAKQ

Just thought the other thing that you will require is a self closer.
Otherwise people will just leave the gate open.
