Has anyone any tips about selling houses in Australia, maybe to immigrants from the UK, in order to get a quick sale. Friends are trying to get back to the UK but cannot seem to get interest in their house and fear it could be a long time before it is sold.

They can only sell to us if its a brand new house .
property in Australia is cheap, best to keep it and rent it out until the dollar gets stronger and the GBP gets weaker, won't be long!!

There's only one type of house that doesn't sell - one that's over-priced.

We'd all like more for our properties when we sell but it's worth what it's worth.

Bet they'll barter like mad when they get back rather than paying top whack which is what they expect their buyer to do.

People never fail to amaze and amuse me with their cock-eyed logic.
