I have a Servis washing m/c which doesn't appear to perform a final spin (it goes through the motions). When the clothes come out there still wet. I have checked to see if the outlet pipe is kinked (which it isn't). Any ideas? A colleague mentioned the motor brushes.

try looking under the machine as most servis have induction motors that dont have carbons.
it is more than likely that its the pressure chamber blocked on there so the machine thinks there is water in the drum, so it wont spin.
that chamber is to the right in the middle if looking from bottom. white plastic thing.
