Building an extension, roughly 6m x 5m.

What are the opinions of setting a level gutter as opposed to having a slope.

I am considering a level gutter for looks really but wondering if that would lead to any problems.

If a slope has to be built in is the correct fall 1 in 600?

Thanks.

You would want a fall of about 20mm over 6m (1:350) - which is hardly noticeable

You are probably thinking of other gutters put up by inexperienced people which fall from the top to the bottom of the fascia and look crap

If you put the gutter level, by the time you have some debris settle in them, they may look nice and level, but your walls and windows wont look too good after all the rain and dirt comes cascading over
