Anyone have any experience of this when looking to build over sewerage pipes?
All pipes are in good condition and everything is fine until the pipes change direction in the area we want to build over are my extension dream plans down the drain (ha) or is this easily fixed? Welsh water have stated on their website that “this could potentially be dealt with by realigning pipework before work is started”
Anyone know how long that would take and also (importantly) how much a water company would charge for this?!?!?
Thanks in advance

Impossible to say how long it'll take without looking at the job, depends on depth, size of pipework, what chambers will be needed, and a host of other issues. Main one being a suitable fall can still be achieved on the diverted sewer.

Usually the Builder doing the extension works would divert the drainage as required, provided the Water Company accept that, they may wish to inspect the work as it progresses though and it will have to be done to their specification.
