shallow depth K2 radiators?

Hello All
I am wanting to upgrade my hallway radiator to a K2. 600 x 1600. Because of the front door, I am limited to 100mm deep including the brackets. Does such a rad exist? (I cant really go longer with a K1).

Radiator brackets often allow two distances from wall to radiator lug fixing... Stelrad softline are 17mm or 31mm depending on how bracket affixed to wall... Stelrad P+ would be 102mm from wall (K2 125mm), according to my 2017 copy of the brochure pages.

P+ would be 2152W cf 1658W K1 and 2771W K2 (delta 50 T) or 1108W / 808 W / 1427 W (delta 30).

EDIT K1s can go to 700mm high x 1600 but won't give much extra 1787W (50) 920W (30) output. Other makes may do taller still?
 
Thanks for your reply. I need 614 watts at a flow temp of 40C. I will have to do some calculations and find out the correction factor etc.
I don't really want to go higher than 600 as there is a dado rail. 125 wide is certainly too wide. I think I saw a designer K2 rad somewhere that wasn't too deep but it was really expensive and I cant find it again. I will keep looking.
It may be that I have to add another radiator somewhere else as well but space is tight in the hallway. I know about the distances but it is still bit too wide even with the narrowest fixing. I had a quick look at the P+ mentioned above maybe this is a possibility . I'll find out the deltaT at 40 and see. Thanks again.
 
A while ago when I was looking at designer rads they were style over substance and did not give out as much heat as a standard. I would be taking off that section out dado if that is what is stopping you going taller. I think output on paper may not translate to feeling warmer in real life espicually if you only increase the W by a small amount.
 
Maybe I will have to cut the dado (will have to check with her highness). This is early stages at the moment. Ultimately, I want to be in a position to get a heat pump when the time comes. The boiler still should have ten years of life in it. I was experimenting with low flow temps last winter. I will still have a hunt around for suitable rad's. The hallway is the only problem radiator. Normal K2s will be alright elsewhere in the house.
 
614 Watts at delta T 20C (40 flow, 20 Room - halls don't need to be hot ;) ).

That 600x1600 Stelrad K1 would be 498 Watts at 20. The same size P+ would be 646 Watts. So if 102 mm depth suits you have your solution with a bit to spare!

EDIT FWIW the tool gave the P+ 1098W at delta 30 cf my Stelrad brochure's 1108W (a 10 Watts difference, less than 1% error).

At 20 watts, that 600x1600 Stelrad K1 would produce 498 watts. 646 Watts would be the same size P+. Thus, you have your answer with some extra if 102 mm depth works for you!
