Shared garage roof

Afternoon guys.
Dont know if anyone is able to help but im looking to replace my half of the garage roof. Next doors landlord doesnt want to do thiers. I want to waterproof my side with a replacement. Any ideas or if this can even be done?

Presumably there's a masonry wall separating the two garages? What material had you in mind? DIY or getting a roofer in?

Sorry should have said. Its single brick garage with a single brick dividing wall. Joists for roof to sit on.
Diy or contractor. Just.looking for options at the moment. Not to fussed on material aslong as waterproofed. At the moment its got steel corrugated sheets. Battened them the corrugated board your see on pics.

How are the purlin configured do they rest on the dividing wall? It can be done with a bit of care.
