Shark NV800 Lower Hose Replacement?

I have to replace the lower hose on my Shark NV800. I've started to remove sections to get at the hose. But how much do I have to undo before I can replace the hose?

I reckon i can get the hose out easily enough in two parts, but getting the new hose in could be a problem?

I just got the oldhose/duct out, but it has an integral collar at each end. My replacement doesn't. I don't think it's possible to attach the collars to the new hose. Is it possible to buy a proper NV800 hose? There's lots advertised, but none have the integral collars?
