the shaver socket is 3A but through an rcd which is it on the cu!
the u/f heating is 30ma rcd (at cu again) and 2.4 amp draw at most i think! hence the 3A fuse, if i'm wrong though and it is 5A 1.5mm is still easily capable! I don't have the instructions to hand at the moment to double check sorry!
