The shaver socket in my bathroom is no longer working and i'm thinking of replacing it. My interpretation of Part P suggests that this is not notifiable. However would it become notifiable if I moved the shaving socket to a new position (within zone 2) in the bathroom and in doing so replaced the old cable?

A swop is maintenence, a move is 'new' works and inside part P.

It's the new cable that makes it notifiable, not the move - if riveralt were moving the socket but not putting in new cable then it would be non-notifiable via 1a of Schedule 2B...
