I currently have a metal shed (useless btw) on a concrete base measuring 8x10 feet.

I am getting a wooden shed 10x12 feet so will need to extend the base. I am going to add another 4 feet to the 8feet side which will make the 10x12feet required.

The shed comes with a base, but what should I use between the shed and the concrete, wooden bearers or the plastic base squares?

I was thinking of the plastic square grids, but I'm not sure about airflow and drainage when used on a concrete base, and are they overkill?

If wooden bearers what size / spacing is best?

Thanks in advance :)

My gardener laid these plastic pallets as a base for my shed, means the shed base will not get wet, and the shed manufacturer who also installed the shed seemed to really like the idea. We were going to use slabs, but this seems better to me?
