I have ordered a new plastic 8 foot by 11foot shed to replace my old wooden one which was falling apart. The existing foundation isn't too bad but it's not big enough it is about 7 foot by 10foot.
I assume I can get a builder in to build a wooden mould and lay another layer on top?
Only issues are that the only rear access to my garden is via an alleyway and a gate.
A few questions do you think I am ok laying new concrete over old or is it best to remove the old stuff first and start new?
If I need to start new is it possible to get the concrete pumped either thru the house or via the alleyway via a hose? (and should that be cheaper?)
Looking at https://www.diynot.com/diy/threads/concreting-over-existing-concrete.456764/ I am concerned if I get a builder to just concreate over existing concrete the new concrete will crack along the seam of the existing concrete where it is being extended.
Cheers
