shed with a single low pitch roof

I have a large workshop shed which was roofed with felt nailed in place by the previous owner of the house. It is now leaking and i am consider what to replace the roof with.

The shed is 3m x 7m, fully boarded roof with a roof pitch of 1-2 degrees. As i see it my options are:

- replace the felt
- Install corrugated bitumen roofing sheet (would need 2 rows of sheets)
- Install metal corrugated sheets (2 rows needed)

Would corrugated sheeting work with such a low pitch (with a large overlap i would guess)? If so would the bitumen sheets work? they are cheaper and nicer to look at than the corrugated metal sheets.

I personally would use the bitumen corrugated but glue the overlap with felt lap adhesive so that you don't need a long one - AFAIK the water will creep up any length of overlap @ that low pitch

Thanks Nige, good advice. I do worry that overtime it would just start leaking at the end overlaps, as you say with minimal drop the water will be drawn into the overlaps. I have seen that you cab get 3m long corrugated metal sheets that would remove the need for the overlap. You can get them painted or plastic coated. Do you have any experience using these sheets? Are they simple to fix?

Any views on box profile vs corrugated?

Box profile is the better option and were it meets the gutter use a bit of wood to shape the lip for a drip edge on such a low pitch.
