Hello Forum,

I need to hang some shelves in my old house on a wall that is slightly off the perpendicular and would be greatful of some suggestions or advice on how achieve this with standard right angled brackets. The angle is only a few degrees sloping into the room but as a result obviously despite looking wrong things would roll of the shelf.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

other options is to let the bracket into the plaster or shelve
or thicken up the front edge to hide the packing applied to the front off the bracket to level the shelve

Or put a tapered groove into the shelf, starting at nothing at the front.

Easily done with a router and a simple jig

Simple washer or two between bracket and underside of shelf at the front.

indeed many combos  I'd still try and bend the brackets a bit first
