Shock Absorbers

Hi

I recently got shock absobers replaced in my 1994 Nissan Almera - shocks and springs, both front ones. I was a bit shocked myself at the price - 256 before vat. Was I ripped off ?

Budget around £100 for the spring, shock and maybe a top strut bearing on each side (not trade), plus an hour each side if all goes well and its not a bad price.
