Shocking crime in Thailand (mass shooting)

The article said he got stressed. OK, but then you don't turn up somewhere (especially a nursery) with a load of weapons unless you have murderous intent.
Do some research on Brievik it might give you some answers.

Maybe it's me.

I'm not in the least shocked by some individual going ape with a gun, we get several a year.
We get plane crashes from time to time, hundreds dead. Not really a shock unless it's in your own area?

Is it just a social media thing, where a thread develops just as a way for people indulge in their thrilling(?) practice of bitching at each other?
More curious to me than a nutter somewhere.

Think it's you, get the first bit thats why I put the Norwegian guy up and how such tools as pornography have been used to anithatise us, the public to reality.
The second bit you put forward is a consequence.

People tend to think Thailand is a desirable place for their hols, full of peace and love. Thankfully I've never been, but it's actually a squalid 3rd world cesspit with a very violent, corrupt under belly.

It is a lovely place and there is alot of corruption . Police are as Bent as a 5 Bhart note. But tourists are generally safe. The industry is so big in Thailand they don't like bad press

Thailand “the land of smiles”, people seem very very friendly, especially the girls.

The police are poorly paid and routinely corrupt.

The Northern parts of Thailand are very very poor, hence why many girls come to the cities and become “bar girls”.

Foreigners should be very wary in Thailand, scams on foreigners are rife.

by the way, Thailand has probably the worst road safety rates in the world.

I didn't particularly enjoy Thailand when I visited a few years ago. It's very touristy and humid. People switch their headlights off to save fuel at night. Motorbikes have bicycle wheels fitted and helmets while compulsory are basically little more than site hats and tend to be used to carry shopping.

I did get a motorbike taxi once and we were 3 on the bike.

Er, I guess you mean anaesthetise, but no not that either!
There seems to be a bit of a split. Those who are "horrified", "heart wrenched" "can't get head around" etc , and the others.
Honestly I'm surprised anyone is shocked.
For me that's the sort of thing we humans can do, therefore some decide they will do. Like when we become nazis, or pull legs off spiders.
It's just a statistic.
Shocked? Are you? Really?

That might fire the trolls up, because their identity owners like trolling, but that's irrelevant.
