On BBC news showing Russian police beating the ****e out of citizens.

One guy is lying passively on the ground surrounded by police and he is getting repeatedly kicked and beaten with batons.
I hope they weren't kneeling on their necks.
Some one could get killed doing that.

I haven't seen it but expect the usual suspects to come along and say they "deserved it". The whole Ukraine thing has made it pretty clear who the ring wing neo-Nazis are. They have a har don for Putingbecause he hates people of colour/women/etc

I presume you mean right-wing, as ignorant people usually associate violence with right-wing politics. There's nothing right-wing in what's happening over there - you are seeing the full flower of communism being played out in the lands of Stalin and Lenin. Orwell said that the future of the human race is a boot stamping on a human face forever

Funny, the BBC has been spouting communist ideology for years! Are the scales now removed from its eyes? Probably not.

Are you saying the BBC agree with the actions of the Russian police?

What ARE you saying?

The BBC, many public bodies and many politicians and political parties, actors and pop stars in Britain have promoted communist / socialist / Marxist politics for years whilst glossing over how evil the stuff is. I'm sure the BBC don't support the actions of the Russian police but I'm also sure some of them must know such violence is part and parcel of extreme left-wing views.

I wonder what Arthur Scargill thinks of what's going on? Or Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell?

communist / socialist / Marxist

andy can't tell the difference between communism, and public services such as the NHS, street lighting, or a postal system, or social services such as free school meals for the disadvantaged, or meals on wheels for the elderly.

says Andy.

He shows no sign of knowing what Marxism used to be.

A lot of the social media platforms are pulling out of Russia, because of the new Russian Fake News law that means you could get 15 years in prison for criticising the State. Its going to be fairly easy to spot the fakebots now genuine people will be in fear.

there is nothing communist about Putin or Russia.

he is a right wing dictator.

Putinism is something entirely different. Right wing politics favours capitalism, private ownership, small state, big enterprise. Putinism is more of a corrupt version of socialism, where the "people" are equal and the inner state operatives sit outside the laws. Strong on state ownership, but my mate will run it. Strong on Law and order, but not for my friends. its not dissimilar the Chinese Communist party.

It's far more akin to Fascism.
While communism is a system based around a theory of economic equality and advocates for a classless society, fascism is a nationalistic, top-down system with rigid class roles that is ruled by an all-powerful dictator.

right wing populism favours cronyism and corruption - features of Trump and Johnson

The UK runs a system where the people suffer from austerity measures and constant cuts to public services, whilst the rich benefit from privatisation of public services.

Putin is little different from a paramilitary group like the IRA - where the money comes from crime and the public are controlled by violence.
