We've had our new oak front door fitted by an "expert"!
He's cut the rebate at the bottom to get a good seal but has managed to cut it 1cm short at the front. The day light shows at each bottom corner and is draughty. (which is why we wanted a new door in the first place!)
The door is made of white oak. Would you recommend that he glues a 1cm strip to the bottom somehow or should he fit an oak drip strip(if that is what it's called) to the front?

A disappointed old lady..............

Get him to replace the door, if he's bodged it he should put it right. Withold payment until he does.

maybe he could rebate a channel in it and put a draught seal in it..it may -have a gap as to the floor not being level when it opens..if this isnt the reason get him to replace it as allready said by others.
