Should I Hire or Buy a Cheap SDS Drill?

It looks innocent but it is limestone which is very dense. Sandstome isn't difficult. The walls look innocent but they are 3ft thick.

Also with brick houses there are many which are made of a really dense hard brick, some bricks burnt in the kiln are as hard as rock. When you are drilling houses like mine which is 4 stories you have solid brick walls 3 bricks thick on the lower level. Sometimes you have to drill through this below the damp course (if there is one) where the walls are dense thick and wet and have the weight of a house on top of them.

In those scenarios the lightweight sds drills take much too lonmg wear out the user much too soon and themselves won't live very long with much of that work.
Hence why a professional needs some big kit. Makes the hole quicker with less effort and survives the job time and again day in day out for years.
