Should I strip roof to felt it

Bought a house where the roof has no felt underneath.

A few tiles are cracked otherwise fine. Inside the loft the mortar is crumbling.

Is it worth it?

it would be worth it if you intended using or storing stuff up in the loft.

if the tiles are in good condition then leave well alone.

also when selling, if a neighbouring house is up for sale and has a felted roof then it may become a bargaining point.

so, i still say leave it alone.
