Doing a loft conversion and the ducting from the mechanical vent goes straight through the ceiling and into the soffit..
Replacing the outside louvre grille and ducting will be almost impossible in the future, so we have to get the job it right now.
What I want to know is that in this case is it best to buy the insulated aluminium ducting as opposed to regular cheap ducting?
My thinking is that the insulated ducting will prevent/stop condensation and mould.. Therefore it won't need replacement in the future..
Am I right or wrong?
Will insulated ducting still get mouldy and condensed inside?
