Should I use sealant on my greenhouse?

When bolting the sides of my greenhouse to the base, should I apply a bead of sealant around the base before placing the sides on top if it?

Also should I apply sealant down the corners where the sides meet?

In particular I am concerned that water may get in between the base and side, as on one side the join is at grass level due to a sloping garden.

Urgent replies please as I will be assembling in the next hour.

Thanks for your reply Diyisfun

I bought the greenhouse second hand.
As I said above, my only concern is that the joint on one side is at ground level therefore might leek water inside onto the gravel adge. Not sure (as a newbie) if this is a good or a bad thing?
