Should there only be one outlet?

I have a guttering run of 12 metres which has a down pipe at each end. When it rains hard the guttering overflows in the middle. I am investigating replacing with Deep Flow but it occurs to me that there shouldn't be two outlets: which way does the water run? I've never had anything to do with guttering before, so any advice would be welcome. Thank you.

The guttering should simply be highest at the middle point (sloping down to the left and right).

If you only had one downpipe, it might not be sufficient to accommodate the volume of water when it is peeing down.

both ways - high at the middle and drop down to each down pipe.
We had this on various houses - and a small semi where the pipework was at the back for each house, so the centre of the front ws at the highest point at it then slopped down each semi from there

The run should be ok with normal guttering, I have a long run along the length of an extended bungalow and it works fine.
highest around the middle

BUT as near the sea, we get a lot of sand , so i clear out the gutters at least twice a year - Easter & Autumn time

Check the water actually flows OK
maybe there is a blockage along the gutter or in the soakaway/drain/downpipe/bends

Have you check for blockages. The centre must be too low to overflow there.Get it all level.
