Just had a new shower (built in rather than exposed) installed as part of my bathroom refit. Following the completion of the tiling I now have a problem. When installing the plastic bulkhead elbow to the outlet pipe it doesn't fit tight to the wall. The instruction manual states that threaded conector should protrude from the finished wall by between 8 mm and 13 mm. Mine is 16 mm so either the plumber mis-calculated or simply took a guess on the thickness of the tile.
I'd prefer to avoid having to remove any tiles so what are my options?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
