I have had to fit a new bi-fold shower door in a small cubicle. The front of the door is flush with the external tiles (or actually those plastic tile edging strips) of the cubicle which makes using sealant on the outside not possible.

The one page installation leaflet which came with the door states NOT to use sealant on the inside of the door but doesn't explain why. I have emailed the manufacturer to ask but am not sure if I'll get a reply.

Can anyone tell me why they would say not to use sealant on the inside as this is going to cause me problems. But if there's a good reason why not then I'll just have to sort it out.

Thanks
