Hi,

I plan to install a shower, with a 15mm CW supply coming from the floor area, and running up the wall to the shower unit.

Should a double check valve be positioned at the base of the CW supply,
(i.e near the equal tee feed) or near the top just before the shower unit itself..?

Regards,
John

There are many types of shower - some need check valves, and some don't.

Which make and model are you installing?

If you install that shower in such a way that the head can never be immersed in water, then you don't need any check valve.

Are you aware that the work to install an electrical circuit for that shower, if carried out after 1st January 2005, is Part P notifiable?
