Hi there,
am installing a shower fan,it is a standard on/off with no timer and has its own pullcord.Am going to wire it in on lighting ring.Have been advised that it will need a double pole isolator but have seen other posts on here saying that as it has its own pullcord that it doesnt require one.
Any advice guys?

Hello,

I would fit a 'local point of isolation', be it 2 or 3 pole, outside of the bathroom so that if it requires maintenance, or develops a fault you won't have to isolate your lighting, which may leave you in the dark   .
