So my bathroom has a Whale SDS021T shower gulper pump.
When it’s running, it sounds like a monster of sorts grrrrrumumumum and it’s really irritating. I avoid taking a shower because I can’t bear the noise. So it’s not something I can just ignore any longer.
It was recently replaced (pump was old and gave out) by same model and same issue.
So I suspect it’s nothing to do with the pump itself and rather the electric control box in the hallway (whatever they are called).
I seem to have an old model installed
Whale 755.120 (9462EO25). When you go to buy one of these, the site says to buy another model. Which is newer and has a little thing which you can adjust the position of and it will adjust the power/suction.
the one it says to replace it with is WHALE-SDS081T
So I suspect if I pay someone to upgrade that for me, I will be able to rid of the horrid sound?
Is that right? Please someone, anyone tell me something
