Hi there

Can anyone advise me please? I have recently had a (budget) bathroom installed and as I have gravity fed system I went for low pressure bath shower mixer taps, as I guess the CW tank is just 8 - 10 feet (vertically) away.

The water pressure is fine with both hot/cold water when using just the bath tap, but when using it as a shower (when held high or low) the pressure is pretty poor.

Could it be that the shower head - the long, narrow type - just isn't up too much and perhaps a more expensive round one with more holes in may do the trick? Or, should I take off the shower head to see what the pressure is like then (I read this on another posting!)?

showerheads give more restriction than a tap.
even if you put a bigger head on it will still be a useless shower
as you'll only have about 0.1 bar pressure
