Handle has snapped on shower mixer, it's old, probably 20+ years, says it's a Kugler? also unable to get surround off without snapping off either! So the pipes are 100mm centre and I'm struggling to find a replacement, doesn't have to be same, just as long as covers up what's there.

But looking around online all seems to be 150mm centres. It may be unusual, but are 100mm centres still around?

Was going to attempt myself, but not if have to concert to 150mm centres

Guess it depends on what type of shower you want etc. 1o0mm was famously the setup for caravans - static/mobile etc.

Bristan exposed showers were always adjustable but IIRC the smallest centres they go down to is 110mm
Just the same really, not too bothered. This one is a thermostatic I think, basically one handle to control flow and temp, 2 pipes going into the valve.

Id rather not have to alter pipes, tiles etc. but searching about it seems 100mm isn't standard.... surprise...
