Shower mixer tap pull valve divertor thingy mi bob

Hi, is this valve complete please? I changed the hose a while ago ant it dropped out so not sure if I have lost a rubber grommet or spring because it currently still comes out the tap whilst the shower is on.

Does it still screw into the body of the bath/shower as the thread at the tip suggests?

That thread should screw onto the chrome pull up

Sorry, more info, I did put this back in place and the chrome top but the water still comes out the tap and shower at the same time 50/50
