Shower not as hot as used to be

I have started to notice the past couple of days my new shower mixer bar isnt as hot as it should be. Its not even a year old yet. Every other tap in the house is boiling hot but shower isnt as hot. Any suggestions? Its gravity fed

Has it got a filter on the hot feed/in the tap that may be partially blocked?

The only filter I know of is the mesh discs that are in the hot & cold inlets on the bar itself

Could be a bit of an air lock, however the probable cause is more than likely the shower hose twisted/kinked/collapsed or the head may be blocked. Do live in a hard water area?

No I live in Scotland so water has no issues. Its actually my wife told me, Im currently overseas working. Ill get her to remove shower head and check hose isn't twisted at all

Is it TMV2? might just need adjusting.
AFAIR it's now a requirement to have these higher spec shower valves in Scotland.

Well if she's anything like my missus with the lead to her hairdryer, I wouldn't be surprised if it was tied up in knots!
