The water at the basin is v hot, the shower is not.
I assume there is something inside the shower that can be adjusted/replaced, how to get into it.

Looks like a toolstation bar mixer.
Is the pipe hot to the shower ?
Shouldn't need adjusting if it was ok and not been tampered with.
