With the wife deciding on some nice 10mm thick tiles (+6mm for adhesive) plus 12.5mm for the aquapanel I find I'm only left with around 10mm of male 1/2" pipe to attach onto when I fit my shower head outlet. When I put the back nut on the whole assembly, I've then got 1mm of thread visible ....
I've had a look around and I've got just about the longest threaded outlet on the market so I either need to extend it or come up with another solution.
Something that suddenly dawned on me was to fix the whole elbow with the backscew to the tile and enlarge the hole in the aquapanel behind it so I can get a speedfit tap connector on the back without too much trouble.
Is this as stupid as it sounds ?
